Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Developer

We are in search of a talented Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a VR/AR Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive virtual experiences for our clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive and realistic virtual reality experiences using Unity or Unreal Engine
- Create 3D models, animations, and textures for virtual environments
- Implement VR/AR technologies into existing projects
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance for various VR/AR platforms
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure high-quality end products
- Keep up-to-date with the latest VR/AR trends, techniques, and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing VR/AR applications
- Proficient in Unity or Unreal Engine and scripting languages such as C# or C++
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software (Maya, Blender) and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with virtual reality hardware (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive) and development kits (Leap Motion)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A passion for emerging technologies and creating immersive experiences

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app development for iOS or Android
- Familiarity with web-based VR/AR technologies (WebVR/ARCore)
- Knowledge of motion capture technology and integration into VR experiences
