Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Svalbard


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and systems. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop security protocols, and implement solutions to protect against cyber attacks. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in the field of information security.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential threats
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends
- Respond to security incidents and provide technical support as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between mainland Norway and the North Pole. While accommodation is not provided, we can assist with finding suitable housing options.
