Information Security Analyst
We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Information Security Analyst to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and ensuring the security of our systems. You will work closely with other IT professionals to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities
- Monitor network and system activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and conduct investigations as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all employees are educated on proper security protocols
- Test and evaluate new security products and tools for potential implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in information security or a similar role
- Knowledge of network and system security principles, protocols, and tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methods and vulnerability management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
