Foundryman



We are hiring a skilled Foundryman to join our dynamic team in Malindi. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for creating metal castings using various molding and casting techniques. You will work with different types of metals, such as iron, steel, and aluminum, to produce high-quality castings for industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or designs to determine casting specifications
- Prepare molds by filling them with sand or other materials and shaping them according to the design
- Melt metal in furnaces and pour it into the molds
- Use specialized tools to remove finished castings from molds
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Operate machinery such as grinders, saws, and drills to finish the castings
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foundryman or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to withstand long periods of standing and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
