Experienced Turner for Full-Time Position in Malindi


Our company is seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Malindi. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to fabricate metal parts according to specifications and blueprints. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and written instructions to fabricate parts
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts
- Inspect finished parts for quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary repairs or adjustments

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Proficient in using various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects if required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school diploma or certificate in machining or related field
- Experience working with different types of metals including steel, aluminum, and brass
