Mason - Contract Position in Manama, Bahrain

We are seeking a skilled Mason for a contract position in the bustling city of Manama, Bahrain. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various types of materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. This is a contract role with accommodation provided and preference given to candidates with their own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Mix and apply mortar or other binding substances
- Lay bricks or other masonry units according to plans
- Cut or trim bricks and other materials to fit into designated spaces
- Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Clean and polish surfaces after work is completed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and building plans
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Own visa preferred

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1600$ per month.
