Metal Fabricator


Our company is in need of a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team in Washington. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures, tools, and equipment using a variety of methods such as welding, cutting, bending, and shaping.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal materials using rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Cut metal pieces to size using power tools or manual methods such as saws or shears
- Shape metal pieces by hammering or pressing them into the desired form
- Weld or solder metal pieces together to create structures or repair damaged parts
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification in metalworking or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in metal fabrication
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in using various power tools such as saws, grinders, drills, etc.
- Knowledgeable in different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
