Junior Software Tester


We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our team in Svalbard. As a Junior Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing and identifying bugs in our software products. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting automated and manual tests to identify software defects
- Documenting and reporting bugs to the development team
- Collaborating with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Participating in the design and implementation of new testing procedures
- Conducting regression testing after bug fixes or software updates
- Identifying areas for improvement in the testing process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with agile development processes
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Svalbard, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Duration:
This is a permanent position.
