Electrical Engineer


We are in need of an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will also be required to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise with the electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of relevant software and codes is also required. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided. Applicants must have their own visa to work in Norway. Salary for this position is $900 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems for various projects
- Developing and testing electrical components
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all work performed
- Collaborating with other engineers and team members on projects
- Conducting research to stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the field
- Providing technical support to other departments as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD or MATLAB
- Familiarity with safety standards, codes, and regulations for electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience working on international projects
- Knowledge of Norwegian building codes
- Fluency in Norwegian language
