Crane Operator
Location: Eldoret, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret load charts to determine the appropriate crane for the job.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the crane and its components to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials using the crane's controls and rigging equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the surrounding area.
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction environment.
- Valid crane operator certification/license from an accredited organization.
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities.
- Ability to read load charts and understand rigging techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable)

This is a full-time position with regular working hours (Monday-Friday). Please note that this position does not include accommodation or assistance with obtaining a visa. Preference will be given to Kenyan nationals or candidates already authorized to work in Kenya.
