Crane Operator - Eldoret, Kenya


As a Crane Operator in Eldoret, Kenya, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane equipment, setting up and securing loads, operating the crane controls to lift and move materials, and communicating with other workers on the ground. You will also be expected to follow safety protocols at all times, including conducting safety checks before each use of the crane.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a crane operator
- Knowledge of various types of cranes and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
- Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills in English (preferred but not required)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. Additional benefits such as health insurance and overtime pay may be provided.
