Instrument Technician


We are in need of an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems according to manufacturer instructions
- Assist in the design and implementation of new instrument installations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
- Communicate effectively with other team members regarding equipment status and potential issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with a wide range of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage
- Physically fit to perform required duties such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, etc.
