Insurance Claims Adjuster
Location: Split, Croatia

Our insurance company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our team in Split, Croatia. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and settlement amounts. You will also communicate with clients, policyholders, and other involved parties to gather information and negotiate settlements.

Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims by gathering information from various sources such as police reports, medical records, and interviews
- Analyze claim forms and other documentation to determine coverage and liability
- Conduct on-site inspections of property damage or injuries
- Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives
- Communicate with clients, policyholders, and other relevant parties regarding the status of claims
- Keep accurate records of all correspondence and activities related to the claim
- Monitor claim payments and ensure they are within policy limits
- Collaborate with legal counsel on complex or disputed claims
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to insurance claims

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as business, finance, or law) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in insurance adjusting or a similar role
- Knowledge of insurance policies, laws, regulations, and procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
