Head Baker


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at a busy bakery in Ashdod, Israel. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery's operations, including production, inventory management, and quality control. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the bakery's operations
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of baked goods
- Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure that all baked goods meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Train and supervise other bakers and kitchen staff
- Develop new recipes and products to attract customers
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule repairs or maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role
- Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create new recipes and modify existing ones as needed
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Good communication skills in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
