JAVA Developer - Contract Position (Utena, Kenya)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team in Utena, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month and is open to Kenyan nationals.

As a JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver efficient and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications in JAVA
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver solutions
- Conducting system analysis and recommending improvements or alternative solutions when necessary
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Ensuring code quality by following best practices and coding standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong knowledge of JAVA programming language and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
- Experience with database management (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills
