Contract Accountant in Bergen, Norway

Our international accounting firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for clients
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an accountant, preferably in an international setting
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
