As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the performance, security, and integrity of our company's databases. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Create and maintain database backups
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular audits and updates
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop new database features and functionality
- Train staff on proper database usage and best practices
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database structure, theories, principles, and practices
- Experience with database software (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)
