Indian Executive Chef - Doha, Qatar
We are seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and creating delicious, high-quality dishes that showcase the flavors of India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that showcase traditional Indian dishes while also incorporating modern twists and techniques
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of efficiency and quality in food preparation
- Source and select the freshest ingredients to use in dishes
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end Indian restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1000$ per month (tax-free)
Location: Doha, Qatar (accommodation not provided)
Contract Type: Full-time (own visa required)
Language Requirement: Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
