Nepali Interpreter

We are seeking a skilled Nepali Interpreter to join our team in Vianden. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Nepali-speaking clients and non-Nepali speaking individuals or organizations. This may include interpreting spoken conversations, written documents, or sign language in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings.

To excel in this role, you must be fluent in both Nepali and English and have excellent communication skills. You should also have a strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity when working with diverse groups of people. Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Interpreting spoken conversations between Nepali-speaking clients and non-Nepali speaking individuals or organizations
- Translating written documents from Nepali to English and vice versa
- Providing interpretation services in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings
- Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all interpretations
- Building rapport with clients to establish trust and understanding
- Adhering to professional standards of conduct, ethics, and confidentiality
- Collaborating with other interpreters or team members as needed

Requirements:

- Fluent in both Nepali and English (verbal and written)

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
