Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Miner to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Miner, you will be responsible for extracting various minerals from underground mines, ensuring their safe and efficient extraction while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate mining equipment such as drills, excavators, and trucks to extract minerals from underground mines
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or damages to the supervisor
- Transport extracted materials to the surface using trucks or conveyors
- Ensure proper ventilation and lighting in the mine for safe working conditions
- Monitor ore production levels and adjust mining methods accordingly to maximize efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain accurate records of daily production, equipment usage, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other team members to plan mining operations
- Conduct routine inspections of the mine shafts and tunnels for safety hazards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in mining or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Miner in underground mines
- Knowledge of operating various mining equipment including drills, excavators, and trucks
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the mining industry
- Physically fit with the ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
