Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of experience driving trucks. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, following traffic laws and company policies. You will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining your truck, as well as communicating with dispatchers and customers. This is a physically demanding job that requires long hours on the road, so candidates must be able to work independently and have excellent time-management skills. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive assigned truck to transport goods from one location to another
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo
- Maintain proper records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to schedules and deadlines for deliveries
- Inspect truck for any damages or issues before and after each trip
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the appropriate parties
- Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving trucks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time-management skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems
- Must be willing to work long hours on the road
