Crane Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team at a busy port in Ashdod. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes. Your duties will include loading and unloading cargo from ships, moving containers around the port, and assisting with maintenance and repairs of the cranes. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience operating cranes, possess a valid crane operator license, and be physically fit to handle the demands of the job. This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per week.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating various types of cranes
- Valid crane operator license
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of cranes according to safety standards
- Load and unload cargo from ships using mobile or tower cranes
- Transport containers around the port using overhead cranes
- Perform routine maintenance checks on cranes and report any issues to supervisors
- Assist with repairs or replacement of faulty parts on cranes as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of daily operations and report any incidents or accidents immediately
