We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our network infrastructure, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance to ensure it meets company standards
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Identify and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on company systems
- Perform regular backups and updates on servers and workstations
- Handle hardware and software installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Hands-on experience with network equipment such as Cisco routers/switches or Juniper firewalls
- Proficient in Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSE are highly desirable
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
