Excavator Operator - Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move earth, rocks, and other materials at various construction sites in and around the city.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-operation checks and maintenance on equipment before use
- Dig trenches, foundations, or other excavations as required by construction plans
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or move them to designated areas
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures for operating heavy equipment
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime when needed

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
