Assistant Merchandiser


As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in all aspects of product planning and development. You will work closely with the Merchandiser to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products to customers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and maintaining seasonal product plans
- Track and manage development samples
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product specifications and timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and sales to ensure smooth execution of product development
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform future product direction
- Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics
- Support the Merchandiser in pricing strategies and margin analysis
- Assist in managing product approvals and ensuring they meet quality standards
- Help maintain accurate records of all products, including SKU numbers, descriptions, prices, etc.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of garment construction and production processes is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail is essential

Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
Nationality preference: Indian
Language requirement: English fluency required
