Entry Level Tutor in Svalbard


We are seeking a motivated and passionate tutor to join our team in Svalbard. In this contract role, you will be responsible for providing educational support and guidance to students of all ages and academic levels. As an entry level tutor, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your teaching skills while making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions according to the needs of each student
- Create lesson plans and educational materials tailored to individual learning styles
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to ensure consistency in teaching methods
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others succeed academically
- Availability for flexible work hours including evenings and weekends

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Svalbard (Relocation assistance may be provided)
