Junior Accountant

Our accounting firm is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our senior accountants with day-to-day tasks such as preparing financial statements, maintaining records, and completing tax returns. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the accounting field.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior accountants with various tasks including preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Communicating with clients regarding their financial documents and needs
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Fluency in English (Lithuanian language skills are a plus)

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1100$ per month. With proven performance, there is potential for full-time employment.
