Entry Level Accountant

We are a leading accounting firm in Akron, seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Conducting account reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintaining records of financial transactions
- Performing general ledger entries and journal entries
- Supporting the preparation of tax returns
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Akron, Ohio. However, we are open to considering remote candidates or providing accommodation for qualified candidates who are not located in Akron.
