Database Administrator - Jerusalem, Nepal


We are in search of a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. You will also work closely with developers and system administrators to ensure database functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and ensure data security
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement backup strategies
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database design
- Create user accounts and permissions
- Generate reports on database usage and performance
- Upgrade databases to meet changing business needs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Knowledge of database design principles and optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Jerusalem, but we welcome applicants from Nepal who are willing to relocate for this opportunity.
