IT Manager - Svalbard

As an IT Manager at our company in Svalbard, your main responsibility will be to oversee our information technology systems and ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, setting goals and objectives, and implementing strategies to improve our overall technology infrastructure.

Your duties will include overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, as well as managing data security and backup protocols. You will also be responsible for budgeting and purchasing decisions related to IT equipment and services.

To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years experience in an IT management position and a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and databases. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Experience with project management and budgeting is also required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments within the company.
