Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation at our high-end restaurant in Manama. Your main goal will be to create delicious and innovative dishes that meet the highest quality standards and exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing menus and creating new dishes that showcase our restaurant's unique style and flavors
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to ensure profitability
- Training and supervising kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Ensuring all food preparation and cooking techniques meet health and safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborating with restaurant management to develop promotions or special menus for events or holidays
- Conducting regular tastings to maintain quality control of dishes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and culinary trends
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating new dishes that delight customers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in order to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position.
