Head Chef
We are searching for an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is consistently delivered to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create menu items in line with the restaurant's concept and vision
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Continuously look for ways to improve menu offerings and increase profitability
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
