Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Abu Dhabi)
Our 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, creating and developing new menu items, and managing a team of chefs to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus that reflect authentic Indian flavors and utilize seasonal ingredients
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
- Oversee inventory management, food ordering, and cost control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and modern cooking techniques
- Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in English
