Job Title: Welder (Contract) - Bergen, Norway


We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding techniques and equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. You will be responsible for joining metal parts and structures using various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. As a Welder, you should have strong attention to detail and safety protocols to ensure high-quality work. This is a contract position without accommodation provided, open to all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding method based on material type
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning and smoothing using grinders or other tools
- Join metal parts using various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Monitor the welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
- Clean up work area after completing projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Familiarity with different types of metal and their properties
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid Welding Certification is preferred
