Mason: Experienced and Detail-Oriented


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Mason for our construction company based in Atlanta. As a Mason, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of various structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. Our ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently with precision.

Responsibilities:
- Constructing and repairing walls, floors, arches, fireplaces, chimneys and other structures using bricks, stones or concrete blocks
- Laying out patterns or designs according to plans
- Mixing mortar or grout and spreading it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
- Cutting or shaping bricks to fit unusual spaces using hand or power tools
- Measuring angles and distances accurately for proper placement of materials
- Ensuring that all work is done according to specifications and building codes
- Inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment regularly

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason in a construction setting
- Expertise in working with various materials including brick, stone, concrete blocks etc.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work with precision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials as required
- Good communication skills in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 1300$ per month based on experience.

Location:
This position is based in Atlanta but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally allowed to work in the United States.
