Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Kaunas. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our organization's network and computer systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting network and system issues, installing and configuring new hardware and software, ensuring data backup and security measures are in place, and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, server administration, and IT security best practices. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with IT security best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Install and configure new servers, operating systems, applications
- Ensure data backup procedures are in place
- Implement security measures to protect company data
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects
- Document network configurations for future reference
