Collections Specialist


We are currently seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections and must be fluent in English. This position is open to Indians and does not require any specific education or degree.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone and email to collect on overdue accounts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to collections
- Communicate with internal teams regarding delinquent accounts and provide updates on collection efforts

Requirements:
- Previous experience in collections or a similar role is required
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult situations with customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
