Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Eldoret. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting on delinquent accounts while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to collect on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and letters
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who are unable to pay in full
- Update customer account information and payment history accurately in the system
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts to ensure timely payments
- Work closely with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding their accounts

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in collections or related field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet collection goals within strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with collections software is a plus

Salary:
Salary for this position starts at 1500$ per month, with potential for increase based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Eldoret, Kenya. Candidates must be able to legally work in Kenya.
