Preservation Architect Assistant
City: Fonvieille, Monaco


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Preservation Architect Assistant to join our team in Fonvieille, Monaco. In this role, you will assist the preservation architect with a variety of tasks related to the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for historic preservation and architecture to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historic buildings and structures, including their history, architectural style, and materials used
- Assist in creating detailed reports on the condition of historic buildings and recommend necessary restoration or preservation measures
- Work closely with the preservation architect to develop plans for restoration projects, including budget estimates and timelines
- Help coordinate with contractors and suppliers for materials and labor needed for restoration projects
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress of restoration projects and ensure compliance with preservation guidelines
- Assist in drafting architectural drawings using CAD software
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, styles, and building materials
- Excellent research skills
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one

Salary: $1300 per month
