Entry-Level Crane Operator

We are offering a great opportunity for an Entry-Level Crane Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. This full-time position does not require any prior experience as we provide on-the-job training and support. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and objects on construction sites or in industrial settings. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:

- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with ground crew and other operators using hand signals or radio
- Lift and move heavy materials and objects according to instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain logs of daily activities including fuel consumption, equipment usage, and maintenance performed
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness for handling heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Valid crane operator license or willing to obtain one upon employment
- Own visa or valid work permit for Norway (accommodation provided)

Salary: Starting at 1100$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
