Pastry Chef at Luxury Hotel in Monte-Carlo, Monaco



We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Monte-Carlo. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious desserts and pastries for our esteemed guests.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and present high-quality desserts and pastries in accordance with our menu standards
- Develop new and innovative pastry recipes to keep up with current trends
- Oversee the production and presentation of all pastry items for banquets, events, and restaurant service
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of all pastry products to maintain freshness
- Train, supervise and mentor junior pastry staff members
- Collaborate with other chefs to create balanced menus that appeal to a wide range of tastes
- Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Creative flair for developing new pastry dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage staff
- Attention to detail with excellent time-management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary school is preferred
