Front-End Developer

We are hiring a highly skilled Front-End Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites and applications. You will collaborate with the design team to bring their ideas to life and ensure seamless integration of front-end elements with back-end systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain website features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional websites.
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with web development tools such as Git, Gulp, or Webpack.
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Svalbard

Note: This position does not come with accommodation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already located in or willing to relocate to Svalbard.
