Part-Time Architecture Manager
Location: Svalbard, Norway


As a Part-Time Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the architectural projects of our company, located in the beautiful and unique setting of Svalbard. You will work closely with our team of architects and designers to ensure that all projects are completed successfully. Your role will involve creating project plans, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring quality control throughout the project process.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and timelines for architectural projects
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with architects and designers to create innovative designs
- Oversee the construction process to ensure quality standards are met
- Communicate regularly with contractors to monitor progress and resolve any issues
- Conduct site visits to ensure that construction is following the approved plans
- Provide guidance and support to junior architects on the team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural project management
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working on projects in remote or unique locations is a plus

Salary: $1500 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
