Carpenter - Jeddah, Philippines


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures or marking gauges
- Cut and shape wood pieces using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels and drills
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, frames, floorings and trim using carpenter's hand tools and power tools
- Build stairs, mantles and other decorative pieces according to specifications
- Inspect wooden structures to determine repairs needed
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting wooden parts of structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working with tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Knowledge of woodworking machines including saws, planers and sanders is an asset
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials if necessary
- Good communication skills in English
- Filipino nationality preferred
