Formwork Technician

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Formwork Technician to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for building and installing forms that are used to create concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of formwork systems, as well as experience with carpentry and construction techniques. You must also be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine form dimensions
- Cut, shape and assemble wood or metal to create formwork
- Install forms, ensuring they are level and properly secured
- Monitor concrete pouring process to ensure forms remain in place
- Remove forms after concrete has cured and make necessary repairs for future use
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or Carpenter in the construction industry
- Understanding of different formwork systems and techniques
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic hand & power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1400 per month

This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Malayalees or those with experience in formwork systems. English speaking candidates are also encouraged to apply.
