Merchandiser Assistant


As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising team in all aspects of their work. Your main tasks will include assisting with product designs, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandising team in developing product designs and concepts
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of products
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify potential new products or improvements to existing ones
- Maintain accurate records of product specifications, pricing, and production timelines
- Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on market trends and build relationships with suppliers
- Help create marketing materials for new products, including product descriptions, images, and packaging designs
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting future needs
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the merchandising industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Contract job - This is a full-time contract position for an initial period of 12 months.
