Floral Designer and Arranger


We are actively seeking a skilled and creative Floral Designer and Arranger to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements for various events, such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
- Create unique and visually appealing floral arrangements using a variety of flowers, plants, and decorative elements
- Order and maintain inventory of fresh flowers and supplies
- Prepare arrangements for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Stay updated on current trends in the floral industry
- Assist with setting up floral displays at events as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or Florist (preferably 2+ years)
- Excellent knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, greenery, and decorative elements
- Ability to create unique designs based on client preferences while also incorporating your own creative touch
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with clients, colleagues, and vendors
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (flowers/buckets)
- Flexibility to work weekends or odd hours during busy seasons

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
