Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Akron. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with our IT team to identify and mitigate risks, implement security measures, and monitor for any suspicious activity.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on our systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic for any potential security breaches
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats
- Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in information security or a related role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption methods, etc.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1400 per month.
