English Language Tutor


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Language Tutor to join our team in Lom, providing high-quality education to non-native English speakers. As a tutor, you will work with individuals or small groups to improve their language skills, using a variety of teaching methods and materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to determine students' current level of English proficiency
- Creating personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
- Utilizing a variety of activities and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress of each student
- Communicating effectively with students and their parents/guardians about their progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (TESOL/TEFL certificate preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience tutoring or teaching English as a second language
- Native or near-native proficiency in English language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching

Preferred:
- Experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies for non-native speakers
- Fluency in another language (especially French) is an asset
