We are currently hiring a skilled Interpreter to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient verbal translations for clients in a variety of settings. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 1700$.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide verbal translations between English and the target language(s) for clients in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and appointments
- Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in translations
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments
- Adapt to different accents, dialects, and speaking styles of clients
- Research terminology specific to each assignment to ensure accurate translations
- Collaborate with team members and other interpreters as needed

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Norwegian)
- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening, speaking, and interpreting
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when dealing with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong time management skills
- Own visa or work permit in Norway
